Persians have a tradition of spending the day outdoors on the 13th day of month Farvardin. ''Sizdah-'' means thirteen, and ''-bedar'', means to get rid of, i.e "getting rid of thirteen".
We are planning a 2 day getaway to nature, Thursday and Friday, a day of trail walking, playing, having Ash Reshteh (Persian herb, bean, noodle soup), throwing away the ''Sabzeh'', and the knotting of the grass followed by a night of stargazing, bonfire, and relaxing in the spa.
